How I can delete an icon on the desktop of my user account without deleting the icon of the wife of my account?
I have Windows XP. My wife plays The Sims games and icons on my desktop clutter when they are installed. When I can remove the icons from my desktop that removed from the desktop of my wife. Anyone know the answer to this before my wife gets too annoying haha?
In My Computer, go to: "C: Documents and Settings * YOURUSER * Desktop" and remove the shortcuts from there. If this fails, then you are probably using the same username and can not get rid of the shortcuts.
